Aldridge School, 1902

 With a two-room school until the fall of 1904, this pictures the “Little Room”, which Mary Jane Davies taught for seven years. A third room was added just as the miners went out on the long, long strike. Even with the workmen out for nearly a year, over 100 pupils stayed registered in school.
